Terms of Service

Last updated: May 8, 2026

1. Acceptance

By using this website (us.useauteur.com) or submitting a consultation request, you agree to these Terms of Service.

2. What this site is, and what it isn’t

Auteur publishes educational content and offers free consultations on U.S. business formation, registered agent service, and virtual office setup. Two important boundaries:

  • This is not legal, tax, or accounting advice. A consultation is informational only and does not establish an attorney-client, accountant-client, or fiduciary relationship.
  • Submitting the form does not create a paid engagement. A formal engagement only begins after we send you a written proposal that you accept in writing.

3. Marketing compliance disclaimer

Auteur is not a law firm and does not provide legal representation. Information on this website is not a substitute for advice from a licensed attorney in the relevant jurisdiction. When a paid service involves regulated activities (such as registered-agent service), we partner with licensed providers and disclose them in the proposal.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Scrape, reverse-engineer, or attack the website
  • Impersonate another person when submitting forms
  • Use the website or our content to support an unlawful business purpose
  • Resell or republish our written content in bulk without permission

5. Intellectual property

All content on this website — including text, design, logos, guides, and blog posts — is owned by Auteur or its licensors. You may quote short passages with attribution and a link back, but bulk republication requires our written permission.

6. Third-party links and tools

Our guides may link to government sites (such as IRS.gov or state Secretary of State portals) and partner services. We do not control those websites and are not responsible for their content, accuracy, or actions.

7. No warranties

The website is provided as is. We do our best to keep information current, but rules — federal tax law, state filing fees, immigration policy — change frequently. Always verify with a licensed advisor in the relevant jurisdiction before acting on anything you read here.

8. Termination

We may suspend access if these Terms are abused. You can stop using the website at any time. Because there is no account or membership, no separate cancellation step is needed.

9. Changes

We may update these Terms. The “Last updated” date will change when we do. Continued use of the website after an update means you accept the revised Terms.

10. Contact
